		<description>I did a similar job on a $20 phono amp made by Behringer (PP400) and removed a nasty hums at 70 hz and 140 hz. The external battery rig (8 AA batteries) delivers cleaner sound than the AC -&gt; DC adapter supplied with the unit.</description>
